Genre- we can tell that this image has been taken from a horrow film.

One reason is because of the distressed anger look on the characters face. This is because he is gritting his teeth. This shows he is trying to get to someone. Also his hair is sticking to his forehead which indicates he is sweating from chasing someone.

Setting- all we can see is he is behind something wooden. this could be a door that he has had to try and break through to get to the person he was chasing.
